Keeping global temperatures from rising 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels requires corporations to decrease global emissions by 50% by 2030 while reaching net zero by 2050.

We are actively setting targets that improve our reduction rate beyond what is outlined in the Paris Agreement. To take it a step further, we decided to commit to not only reducing emissions derived from our direct operations, but also our supply chain. This broadened commitment requires committed partners, suppliers, and vendors to succeed.

Scope 1 and 2 emissions (derived from our own operations) will be reduced to net zero by 2030. We have the most control over these emissions – travel, electrical components within offices, etc.

Scope 3 emissions will be reduced to net zero by 2030 as well. These come from products and services we purchase, such as materials we use to produce communications content.

Our priority is addressing the emissions across our direct operations first and foremost; ideally as quickly as possible. We will simultaneously work with our suppliers and vendors to efficiently reduce our Scope 3 emissions to net zero as well.

Depending on the scale of our relationship with clients, we can represent a significant portion of our clients’ carbon footprints which means our commitment to become net zero by 2030 will help our very own clients achieve their targets as well. We will ensure our clients receive our support as they progress toward their own goals, not only through our reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, but Scope 3 emissions as well.

Considering the importance of collaboration between The Yadot Group and our suppliers and vendors, we will try to share as much insight as possible as we learn how to effectively reduce our emissions. We will publish our progress once per fiscal year within a brief Sustainability Report. Considering we are not a publicly held entity, we will not be reporting our progress to any formal organization.

We look forward to working with our clients, partners, suppliers, and vendors to progress toward achieving emission reduction targets that will benefit our clients and communities across the globe.
